This will be part of my sons christening ceremony this weekend I can easily think of ways for other there elements but stuck on how best for a niece to bring up/represent air as a procession with three other nieces. Apart from her going up empty handed!

I think the Baloon is a great idea. I also found this on another site "a red candle is used to represent Fire, and incense or a fan represents the Air and your favourite piece of crystal or rock represents Earth" it's about getting married but similar enough. A nice Chinese fan could represent air really well. The site's here
