Hi all, Basic design for our invites are done (christmas wedding) but the htb thinks it needs more. Two suggestions from him, first that the card in cream should be bigger against the green background (its half a4 green and a5 cream) and second that the outside is too plain. I'm into simple designs and just can't see what else it could need without being ostentatious-advice would be greatly appreciated!! I'll put the photo up later, Essentially its a centre fold dark green card with a red seal holding it shut. Open both sides and you get the cream card mentioned above with a cord edged ribbon on the left hand side. Difficult to describe but photos will help when I get my iphone to sync! Definitely will be easier with pictures. Half a4 is a5. I think it might be enough though, the ribbon edge sounds lovely.

I really think that looks lovely as it is. Once you have all the writing in I think there will be enough going on. you would all a little christmas swirlyness at the top and/or bottom of the text and it would be lovely.

Maybe you could add some ribbon to the outside like this....
