Hoping any Irish speakers out there can help - how would you spell the boy's name: - Finnán - Fionnán - or some other way? Thanks!

I've seen Fionán and Fionnán. Finnan is not an Irish spelling. I'm pretty sure Fionnán would be the best spelling! Lovely name :)

Fionán - one "n" in the middle.

I would have said Fionnán with two 'n's. As in the Irish Independant Political Editor Fionnán Sheahan.

My bro is Fionán and pronounced Fin-awn. The Irish Indo guy pronounces it Fun-awn.

I believe its Fionán - I work with a guy who spells it this way anyway

Thanks girls - we'd be pronouncing it Finn-awn, so I guess it'd be spelt Fionan (sorry, on phone so can't add the fada). Thanks everyone!
