I think I'm going to use this one as a reflection. Happy to share! Geallaim iad seo Ní féidir liom saol lán le gréine a ghealladh duit, Ní gheallfaidh mé saibhreas, maoin ná ór, Ní féidir liom bealach éasca a ghealladh duit, A cheallaigh athrú nó éirí sean. Ach geallaim dúthracht mo chroí duit, Miongáire a shaorfaidh tú ó do dheora, Geallaim grá síoraí i gcónaí duit, Mo lámh i do lámh go deo. English translation These I Can Promise I cannot promise you a life of sunshine; I cannot promise riches, wealth, or gold; I cannot promise you an easy pathway That leads away from change or growing old. But I can promise all my heart's devotion; A smile to chase away your tears of sorrow; A love that's ever true and ever growing; A hand to hold in yours through each tomorrow.

Ah that's lovely! Was looking at love songs in Irish but sure they're all about unrequited love, or the singer singing about their loved one dying suddenly, or love for Ireland - not appropriate! nice to see something about happy love!

Steal away! Not sure where I found it but I'm pretty sure I stole it from elsewhere! :custum59
