once the egg is fully cooked (as in no runny yoke :weep ) then you should be fine. The eggs we buy in the shop aren't pasteurised are they?

If you mean in homemade mayonnaise or other foods made from uncooked eggs then it's not recommended. All eggs are essentially unpasteurised unless cooked through. If you cook them until yolk is hard then no problem.

I dont think you can pasturise eggs unless you are manufacturing them into something else? Basically, farm fresh eggs are fine but you must cook them well. To be honest, I have started eating my yolks a bit runny again which you are not supposed to according to 'they'.
