Hi girls, we got a BFP two weeks ago and I've been having insomnia. I asked my pharmacist and she recommended a bit of lavendar oil on my pillow at night. It has helped me to feel better in the mornings but I've just read that it may not be safe! Anyone any opinions on this? Grateful of your advice.
Afaik lavender inhaled like that is ok but application on body should be avoided.
According to what to expect its safe even in massage once you mix it at a concentration that's half the standard usage.
You need to avoid the following oils - basil, juniper, rosemary, sage, peppermint, pennyroyal, oregano and thyme as they can trigger contractions.
