Lexapro

Hi Ladies Im going anon for this one! I have been taking Lexapro for anxiety & just wondering when we start ttc is it safe for a baby? I know it would be best to avoid but dont think i could cope without it. Have any of you done this?

I'd say you really need to talk to your GP about it. I don't know anything about that particular perscription but I know there's an epilepsy drug that can cause miscarriage I think? V nb your doctor knows you are trying to conceive. If that tab is unsuitable there might be alternatives? Or you know there are websites that will give you all the contraindications for various drugs so you could check there first. Better to go to a proper professional tho rather than relying on net! hth!
