Not being a smart @rse but isn't vintage contemporary a total contradiction?

My dress is lace, I'd consider it quite vintage so I am going with smokey eyes, blush and natural lips. I am thinking that when I show the MUA a picture and tell her what I usually wear she'll weave her magic. Have a search for picture on google, I often do this and theres LOADS to choose from.

Aha! Sorry thought you meant mix of the two!
Scarlett Johanson usually has a very vintage 50s style look so maybe look up pics of her. Also Dita Von Teese loves the vintage look. Is that what you're looking for ?

I would think Kim Kardashian has quite a contemp look - Maybe a bit heavy though.

I find it so hard to get make-up ideas, because I find it hard to distinguish between wanting the persons make-up or wanting to actually look like the person IYKWIM.
Here is what I'm thinking..
(and I know what you mean, I would describe my wedding dress as modern vintage

despite the contradiction)

I have dark hair and blue eyes so my first step was to google actresses with my colouring and then google their red carpet looks - you'll get loads of ideas this way. After looking through loads of pictures my make-up inspiration then became Courteney Cox!

Going to have to include actresses when I do this, googled my hair & eye colour and got this [img:36cb74ly]http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSsDyQ7CyiL5TnheQ95QR0ZAu75JnJJUEag6Lao0tlAS9sfI35p[/img:36cb74ly] So I;m away to think about actresses with similar length and colour to me!
