Maternity Benefit Form

Filling in Maternity Benefit Form and I'll get my pay topped up by work but my husband is out of work and is on Back to Eduaction Allowance am I entitled to tick the box for extra weekly pay or not??? Confused

You can make additional claim for your spouse if his income is below a certain level - it will say on your form. I think it was €300 a week? The worst they can do is say no! If in doubt ring the mat benefit section for advice. I found them helpful when I rang with a query about mine. HTH.
