Does anyone know the ins and outs of this - I am getting my stautory mat at 108.85 per week but not sure what else i may be entitled to...,all help greatly appreciated - will defo miss the extra money!!

Hi, you will be entitled to child benefit of £18.10 per week once the baby is born and if you are going back to work more than 16 hours a week you can apply for working tax credit. I am not sure about ordinary child tax credit - I think both are assessed on your income. The government gives you £250 to start a child trust fund when it is born and the child gets it when they are 18.

Don't know much about anything else myself, would be interested in finding out, or could someone even point us in the direction of a decent website to tell us?
