maybe a miss

Hi i have been married since January 2004. We were trying for a child. But I have had some complications recently with persistent bleeding. After gp visit and ultra sound it looks like a miss. Has anyone been through this before? It was my first pregnancy. May need a D& C. Anyone had one before? what's it like? I didnt feel too bad when I was told but now after reading internet am feeling sorry for myself. I know it doesnt necessarily mean any long term complications. let me know what you think. thanks

So sorry to hear your news, I just thought it might be helpful for you to know about the Pregnancy & Babies forum in this site, there are (unfortunately) many women who are experiencing the same as you. Also Rollercoaster.ie and magicmum.ie are both baby centred websites with sections on baby loss.
