The Swing is an electric pump that is suitable for everyday use, and comes with a mains plug and a battery pack for use when out and about. It's ideal if you plan to breastfeed and are looking for a pump that will allow you to express breastmilk whenever you want, wherever you want. Because I've used the pump, I've replaced the breastshield with a new Medela breastshield from a hospital-grade pump (which means you can just pop it in the steriliser along with the rest of the parts, unlike the original Swing breastshield which has to be sterilised separately in Milton).
