Microwave Sterilizer

Bought a NUK microwave sterilizer a while ago. Only took it out to look at it yesterday and the instructions say that the microwave may damage teats. Confused as I presume teats and soothers need to be sterilized in the same way as bottles?? I don't want to have to use 2 different methods to sterilize so looking for some advice. Are the electrical ones better & can you sterilize everything together??

We only used a microwave steriliser and it never did any damage to the teat.

We were the same only used a Microwave one and everything goes into it at same time and no damage to anything you even put the Soothers into it. Never heard that before.
