My mother is searching for the perfect outfit for my sisters wedding in late June.Shes about a size 20, and can find nothing in the shops. Im wondering does anyone know a shop or boutique that specialises in this or caters for plus sizes in wedding outfits. We are living in Galway but willing to travel! Sorry if this topic has been dealt with before but Im new to the site.Thankyou in advance (hopefully!) xxx

This has large sizes and you will definetly get something. There is also a big McIhinneys in Ballybofey if that would be closer for you. My mother is a 20-22 and bought my two sisters mother of bride outfits in Athboy (Co. Meath). They have bags and shoes.

My mother is a size 16-18 and we had terrrible trouble getting her fixed up for the wedding. Eventually we went to McElhinneys in Ballybofey and got her a fab Michael H oufit and she was able to get bag, shoes and hat all in one go.

I am doing the same thing at the moment with the MOB, and a lot of people have reccommended Ela Marie in Newcastle West. Condici is a lovely plus size label, although it is a little bit pricey. Other people have recommended Chantelle in Monkstown in Dublin, I'm going out for a look today, I'll let you know how I get on.
