Muckross Park Hotel,Killarney

Hi all gettin married on the 30th July 2010 at the Muckross Park in Killarney. Venue is booked since Mar this year. Meeting the new wedding coordinator(annie is gone) in 2 weeks and we are looking at trying to negotiate on wine (€25 per bottle) and sparkling wine(€39.90 per bottle). Have agreed room rate of €200 per room, but have to take 20 rooms(will have to take 20 rooms) Wondering if anyone else is getting married here and have they negotiated on price. Cheers Husssy

went to see Muckross today, we met with Brenda from the apprentice, she was lovley, prov booked the hotel, their prices were very reasonable for a 5 star, there is no longer a policy of having to take a certain amount of bedrooms. really loved the place, can you give me any tips of what you were able to negotiate on for prices, much appreciated
