need help

Postby rainingmen » Thu Feb 12, 2015 9:59 pm

Hi there, I got married in September2014 and we tried to do a bit of everything ourselves with help from friends and family. We wanted our wedding to be different then the norm, be very hands on and to make it unique and special to us.. we created our own table displays, favours, signing, table plan...you name it we diy'd it... So I was thinking if I could help and be of any assistance to future brides to be that would like to go down the road of diy'ing then I could lend my knowledge out and give a little help.. weddings areal unique and personal that everyone has their own ideas of what they should be like but if anyone would like any ideas then I would love to share them...thanks

You are so good. I would love to see any photos you have of your diy things you did. I plan on making as much as possible. At the moment I am looking at invitations and trying to find a good design and the materials. I would love a list of what you did diy wise.

We just wrote on it with a chalkboard pen - super easy but looks amazing!! I tried attaching a picture, but the file is too large! :(

Cool thanks. I'll have a look on Pinterest and look out for a good value mirror.

That's fab. Congratulations on your beautiful wedding. Where did you get the mirror, frame and easel?

Mirror was from tkmaxx, happily it was already grey, so didn't have to paint it!
The easel was from a car boot sale..

Great idea rainingmen. You're so good to offer to help others. I'll definitely recommend your thread for my friends who are getting married over the next 18 months.
