Warning-may be upsetting. I am so sad reading this, imagine losing a child and then having to endure this kind of burial and thinking that your baby was in limbo.

Ah that's so so sad. It was like hearing of the fathers going to Glasnevin on The Tenements. I never knew this sort of thing existed until recently. How can people be so cold

People always talk of 'the good old days' remembering this country through rose tinted glasses. Some things have well and truly changed for the better

So so sad, in many ways Ireland has come a long way. The unnecessary hardship that was inflicted on those families was terrible.

TBH, every christening I go to in a Catholic Church makes me very angry, all this talk of little babies born with sin......That is a heartbreaking story, like so many others, the lack of respect for children is astounding.
