Hi All, The venue where we're getting married has a piano and I was planning on getting someone to play it during the drinks reception. But a friend told me she's been to weddings where its made the atmosphere too serious and wouldnt recommend it. Just wondering what other's thoughts are on this? Does it create a nice or serious atmosphere? Thanks!

For our wedding, we had a guy playing the piano, it was part of the package from the hotel, and to be honest, I didn't even notice him playing myself, and notbody even mentioned him. Maybe he was a bit non descript though!

Hi Laineyob, The piano is a great idea! There are heaps of pianists that you can book - all different genres. So you can have them playing more upbeat, current, lively pieces - anything you like! :wv
