Really want to get a sling but a bit dazzled by all the ones on offer. Plan to buy on-line. Can anyone recommend a good one please. Thanks.

For a newborn I highly recommend the kari me stretchy sling as it goes with the weight of the baby so they feel nicely cocooned. For an older baby the Ergo gets great reviews, you can buy the newborn insert with this also but I personally haven't (YET!!) some of the ladies on Mums and kids have used it with newborn insert and have given it good feedback. I won't be able to give you any until Feb when baba 3 goes in it!! http://www.hipbaby.ie/outdoor-baby-slings-c-5_154.html Also check out baby wearing Ireland and there are some dedicated forums here also http://www.magicmum.com/phpBB/viewforum ... 3366fbc8ef

I bought the baba sling in TK Maxx and even through baby seemed comfy in it, my shoulder really hurt after wearing it for any significant amount of time. So I did a bit more research online and read some great reports about the Moby Wrap sling. I ordered one from littleacorns.ie, and I was so happy with it that a week later I ordered a second one. Baby loves it, and so do I. Tying it takes a little practice, but it's easy once you get the hang of it. There are some great videos on youtube to teach you how to do it. And it's just so comfy to wear. No more shoulder pain because the weight is distributed evenly across my back. I highly recommend it.
