Hi girls, just wondering if your following any special eating plan or are you just eating as normal? I'm just eating as normal (ish), trying to healthy and eating a bit more fruit. I noticed I have a sweeter tooth than normal. I seem to be having some sort of goodies everyday. I am 6/7 weeks. Have started taking pregnacare supplements.
When I got pregnant first and bought a book which had a suggested diet, I thought I'd never be able to keep up with the amount of portions they were suggested, and felt like I was a bad person for not doing the best for my baby.
But then I realised that if I just ate well, kept a varied diet and cut down on the junk, the baby would be fine.
Just concentrate on your fruit and veg, eat a bit more red meat (lamb / beef) for the iron levels, and plenty of water. That's all I've been doing.
