reading for wedding ceremony

was at a wedding last week and the couple had this at the start of the marriage vows. It was at the Declaration of Consent and the priest read this bit out.... "bride and groom, please hold hands as a visible sign of the gift that you give each other today. These are the hands of your best friend, vibrant with promise, as you pledge your love and commitment to each other. These are strong hands, yet tender and gentle. These are the hands that will love and cherish you. They will wipe away the tears from your eyes - tears of joy and tears of hurt. These are the hands that will hold you trhough difficult times and support and encourage you to follow your dreams. I invite you then to declare before God and his Church your consent to become husband and wife...." It made me cry i thought it was so lovely
