Recommend a beach resort in San Diego

Hi Girls, Can anyone recommend a nice beach resort in San Diego for our honeymoon?

Hi Hotel Del Caronado is lovely. Its a built up (but not busy) Island just off Downtown San Diego. It is close to everything. It has outdoor swimming pools and the beach is about 5 steps away. A few films were filmed there - Some like it Hot! I have never stayed there myself but it looks classy and top service. Also the Bahia is really nice or the Cataraman (which i think is nicer). Both are on the bay in Mission Beach just either side. Its about 5mins by cab from Downtown but is located two blocks from the beach and only a few minutes away from a must do Sea World. It has lots to do around it -sailing, Bay tours as well as local bars, restaraunts and nightlife. If there is anything i can help with just let me know as im living here for the past three years
