Recommend a place for break down south

Holidaying in ireland this year girls and just wondering if any of ye can recommendation of where to go for a few days break at end of July down south, either Cork, Waterford or Kerry... looking for someplace with things to see or do, eg. jameson distillery, fota island etc... where would be nice and not over the top expensive to stay... a town a bit like westport but obviously not westport if ya get me..... thanks girls,

I've never been, but isn't Killarney mean to be great... big enough town to find stuff to do and Kerry also has some fabulous countryside for walks etc and beaches too if you got any way decent weather.

Oh and Dingle?? Meant to be fab - a fair drive though!

Ya thanks Sunny K, we are booked into Kilkenny for a night so its east or west after that I guess, We do have such a beautiful country if we get the weather....
