A flattering dress for a size 18 guest that preferably doesn't expose my flabby arms, isn't expensive and not a bright colour? Any ideas?

What kind of budget are you thinking? Do you have time to order online?

I have plenty of time. Am hoping to spend no more than €150 but will stretch to €200. I have 5 weddings before the end of June and more before the year is out, so ot will get plenty of wear. I'm hoping to get something that will suit accessories I already have, so navy, blue, black would be ideal.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I like all the asos dresses, but they're so short, except for the navy one. Think i might get the navy and stone one from simply b, the length is great. I haven't bought from them before. What's the quality like?

So many pretty dresses. I think the pictures on asos make things look shorter than they are because the models are very tall. On a normal human, their not that short at all.

Thanks. I'm 5' 8. Have to cover my knobbly knees!
