Hi Sugarplum - looking for a book myself - a few people have recommended "What to expect when you are expecting" so I think thats the one I'm going to get - but all recommendations welcome

I got "What to expect when you are expecting" and I have to say it's excellent.

I'm reading this one at the moment: http://www.amazon.com/Expecting-Everyth ... 68&sr=1-33 I like it because it's not preachy - it doesn't take the high moral ground on certain issues, but just gives you the facts and lets you make up your own mind.

I got What to expect as well and it has been by my bed for the last few months like a bible - great for referring back and forth to. I just recently also brought Gina Ford book to a contented baby but don't know yet if it is any good

I'm reading What to Expect as well, and I find it really good. It's a great reference book, and is indexed really well, so you can just pick it up and check for something in particular.
