registering intent to marry

HI I was wondering if you live in Co.Meath do you go Meath to register date or could I go to Louth.I live on the border of 2 counties.Save me 50mins journey if i could go to Louth.Thanks

hi snuddlums as far as I know you register the marriage in the county you intend to marry in! If you ring your local office they shod let you know anyway! Hope that helps!

Hi Snuddlums! You can go wherever you want to register!!! We are getting married in Kildare, but live in Drogheda so i just actually did it today and went to Drogheda! So handy - no queuing and we were done in 20 mins!
