Sorry girls, probably a silly question, but how do you make saute potatos Hubby has been asking me to make them for ages, but I've never done them before (and he does zero cooking )
Any tips?
Thanks

boil some potatoes until they are soft - (its also lovely to use left over boiled potatoes)
slice them thinly
fry the slices in some oil in a large frying pan - turning occasionally
yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Thanks a mill Clucky Thats great. Might try them out tonight.
One more question for you, is there a particular potato that works best, like kerr pinks/golden wonders/roosters, or does it really matter

i like it best with small baby/new potatoes cos they don't fall apart when you slice them up. it's better if the spuds are cold when you go to cook them so maybe boil them the night before or something
