Spring or Pocket Sprung?

Hi Girls, I am looking into matresses and just wondered if anyone has any opinions on spring or poket spung? I was looking at Mothercare ones.

I was looking at exactly the same last night. The Pocket Sprung is more expensive........so is it better?

I know! I am assuming so?

Hopefully someone on here can help us. By the way, the matresses appear to be cheaper in Smyths than in mothercare.

I spoke to a girl in mothercare about mattresses last week. She said that for a cot, the foam mattress is all you need but for a cot bed she'd advise the sprung mattress as the baby will be sleeping in it for longer.

What about moses basket girls ?
