Morning Ladies, Has anyone ever tested positive for strep G? Doc rang me this morning to tell me a swab test I had done at the start of the month had come back positive and I need antibiodics. Anyone know anything about it? Thanks

Are you sure it's not Group B strep you were tested for ? If so, see link below. I think it's relatively common and will be fine if treated.

No I rang the doctor back to check! Def Strep G. I might just check with the midwife for a bit more info. Thanks
