TACKY OR GOOD IDEA

Hi girls need your help im doing a candy buffet for my wedding and as its on the 28th oct i was thinking of doing the table a bit halloweeny mini pumpkins cobwebs ect(not over the top by no means) will call it the trick or treat table! table will be in the corner of the room and will be the ONLY thing in the room and in the wedding that will have a few halloween decorations as i dont want to turn the thing into a halloween party! is this idea Tacky or do you think it will look ok? <a href="http://www.theknot.com/?utm_source=ticker&utm_medium=HTML&utm_campaign=tickers" title="Wedding Dresses"><img src="http://global.theknot.com/tickers/ttd43ee.aspx" alt="Wedding Countdown Ticker" border="0" /></a>

I don't really get the whole Candy Buffet thing but for your wedding at Halloween and also the whole Trick or Treat thing I think it's really cute and think it works!

aw tanx i saw one at my cousins wedding and she got people in to do it for her and it looked fab, i know they are pretty common but i thought it was brill and always said id have one at my wedding!

I think that sounds like a good idea. My OH is addicted to Haribo jellies so I think a candy bar is something we will be doing.

Sorry - I have to say I hate it - but I also hate 'candy buffets' in general. I think they're tacky even without the halloween stuff. Sorry :-(

i think it's great and why not play on the time of year it is. There are ways to do this without it looking like a kids party. You could just have some sort of a black and orange theme over at the table and some little mini pumpkins as candles. ooh I can just see it now - candy apples and all that!
