Three course meal

Really stupid question but how long do you think the three course meal should take. I'm thinking of doing speeches beforehand and these will be 20 min MAX but need to know timing wise and i've never been to a wedding and I haven't the foggiest!!

Ask your hotel what their timing is like, they will give you a definite time scale, generally anywhere from 1hour 30 mins to 2 hours 15mins but it depends on numbers and what service is like at the hotel. That’s including the speeches and cutting the cake etc.

We aren't going to a hotel, we are using outside caterers, but that timing is pretty much what I thought. Thanks
