Hey The poor thing, she must be up the walls. Cramping can be normal at any stage during pregnancy cause of the uterus stretching. This stretching can often lead to spotting as well as it clears out old blood or the spotting could be due to a sensitive cervix. If the baby measured correctly for her dates at that scan then it would appear everything should be ok. She could ask for another scan a week after having the last to make sure there is a weeks growth. Other than that it's a horrible waiting game but to me it sounds like everything should be ok.

[color=darkblue:3mh2kp7u]I think it all depends on the colour of the blood spotting she is experiencing - usually brown blood spotting indicates old blood being omitted from the womb while pink/red blood is fresh blood and could be a problem...I would advise your friend going to the EPU for a follow-on scan to put her mind at rest.
