Hi all, Ive read somewhere you're not suppose to wear an under wired bra whilst pregnant, can anybody tell me why that is???

If you aren't wearing the right size bra, it can dig in, and could cause blocked milk ducts, which would make life difficult if you are bf'ing. If you wear the correct size, there's no problem at all.

I was wearing the right size but found that they were very uncomfortable come the evening time and sitting down at night. I changed to non wired last week and its way more comfortable.

I am quite large chested and I only found out about not wearing under wire bras towards the latter stage of my last pregnancy! Personally, I prefer underwire bras. I need them! They never caused me any hassle with pain or with breastfeeding.

With DD1 I wore underwired up to the last few weeks. Think I felt more comfortable in non wired towards the end and it got me used to wearign non wired for BF
