I saw many gorgeous ideas on also newaylook Some of them seem like a lot of work. The one where you blow dry, curl, pin up curls all before braiding seems like way too many steps. The result looks great , but when I braid my hair I generally have to try it a few times to get it right. By the time I get something decent looking my arms are tired.
My hair is also very fine and stubbornly refuses to hold a curl. So my only solution has been to cut my hair quite short (into a graduated bob like ) and use the hot rollers for special occasions, but use a double barrel curler for every day (it works more like an oversized crimper so the wave lasts a lot longer and gives the appearance of loose finger waves).
