urine sample

Ladies, I have a doctors appointment in the afternoon, am wondering when i should take my urine sample, would the 1st morning sample be ok at 4 in afternoon? thanks xx

Hi Fur, I always take the first morning sample with me, it's hard to keep it stored upright all day though but usually I leave it wrapped in a few plastic bags in the car. The afternoon sample would probably be better than no sample at all though, but I always try to remember the morning one.

I have never had a gp or midwife insist that I bring 1st morning sample. They always just ask for a sample when I arrive (so it's usually early afternoon), and that is all they're looking for. HTH
