Hey girls,
Im trying to plan a trip to vegas early next year and would love some help.
Who has been and where would you recommend staying?
It all seems so big and there are sooo many hotels to choose from!
Thanks!

I would recommend Planet Hollywood, because it is a central location on the strip, and good value. I did a lot of research on the different hotels before I booked, and i'd stay there again if I went back.

MGM and Aria are where we stayed and both were fab.
But if I were to go back would love to stay in the Bellagio.
Also if/when I go back I would fly to London then fly direct from there. We went via Atlanta this time and it was tough going waiting around between flights.

Thanks Ladies.
I heard its better to go via the states so that we can clear customs here in Dublin...
Will check out the hotels, not sure if our budget will stretch to the bellagio for 5 nights

We stayed in the Bellagio. It was unreal. If u can be flexible with your dates, try mid week as it's usually cheaper!

Check out Vdara, we stayed there it's very new and is an all suite hotel. It's located right beside the bellagio so great location and the rates are quite good. It's really modern and funky inside. Well worth a look! Have a ball, I loved Vegas!

We stayed in the Luxor because we got a good rate. One tip is to only book a night, because the hotel will offer you a second or third night at a good rate, they want to keep you in their place in the hope you'll gamble more!
We went to a show and visited all the big casinos, but I found once you've walked the strip during the day and at night, there's not really that much to do unless you're into gambling. We played a few slots and did a couple of poker tables, but we're not big time gamblers. I would have loved to have done the Grand Canyon helicopter trip but we weren't able to, but I'd highly recommend it if you can get to one. I know some people love the shopping, and the tax rate is slightly lower than other places, but Vegas didn't live up to the hype for me.

we stayed at the flamingo in a go room. absolutely LOVED vegas and cant wait to go back. definitely getting married there next time. we saw elton john at caesers palace, ka at the MGM, did the helicopter trip over the grand canyon, pottered about the hotels, did some shopping, some drinking, some relaxing by the pool. id go back in a heart beat.
we chose the flamingo because of location and price. we wanted to be in the middle of the strip so that we were in the centre of everything. so jealous. can i come??? ill marry you?
