Weekend Breaks ideas :) Please help

Ladies, I really need your help here, my hubby’s birthday is end of May and I’m looking at taking him away in Ireland for the weekend, no more than 2 hour’s drive outside Dublin… Here’s what im looking for somewhere nice, possibly within walking distance to a nice village, with possibly horse riding / kite surfing or something similar within a driving distance… Im looking for something special, as he really deserves a nice weekend away on me. Max budget €500 (approx) for both of us for two nights! Any ideas??? X Thanks a million

Have you thought about Carlingford? It would seem to fit all the criteria youve listed.......

How about Macreddin Village? I stayed there in one of the rooms with a huge 4 poster bed, there's lovely walks and it feels really secluded and romantic.
