What boots?

Hi all, Just wondering what boots would you wear with black skinny jeans? I'm thinking more casual wear rather than going out wear....if you know what i mean. I have a pair of flat black knee high boots but i don't like the look of them on for some reason. I think they come up too high and perhaps i should go for boots to the calf - maybe even in brown? Does that sound weird? Anyone see any nices ones in the shops lately? LC

I am much preferring the ankle/slouched boots with my skinnys this year. Much more than the knee high look of the past few yers.
