Just wondering for consultant/doctor visits, what actually counts as the 1st morning urine sample.
Say for example you are up around 4 or 5 for the toilet & then back up again at 8 or 9 - which do you actually collect to be tested - does it really matter that much.
Not really sure but I think it's the one that will give you the longest since you last went if you know what I mean. So if you go to bed at 10 and get up at 4 to pee then that's 6 hours. IF you then go again at 8 that just 4 hours so you should take a sample at 4pm.
My GP told me not to take the sample straight away but mid stream sorry TMI
Thanks for that weddwolly - it does make sense to use the one thats longest there
Midwife told me a couple of weeks ago that its not the middle of the night one its the one when you get up before you eat anything.
