Not my cup of tea at all. If I remember right, even by 1981 standards it was a bit fancy.. Not for me either - but it would have been the height of fashion, luxury etc in 1981 were bigger was always better :wv

I was put in something like that for my hen!!! Danced through the streets of Ennis with it on. Oh the shame...! :-8

I remember watching it on the telly and thinking she looked like a real princess and so beautiful ......... Looking at it now I think it's quite horrible but at the time it was gorgeous it was the 80's ......... Sure in 20 years time all ours will probably look desperate as well - That's fashion for ya :o0

At the time I thought WOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!! It was THE princess dress!!! Everything dates and unfortunately it has too!!! It certainly was amazing though!!!!

I love it, Id make the dress part into pillow cases and the train could be my quilt yep would look really nice on my bed. She was a beautiful looking woman pity bout the daa she married
