What to write on thank you cards?

Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has any good wording for thanking people who gave money? I'm finding it hard to say it in a way that doesn't sound a bit crude. Any suggestions ? Cheers, FB

I just put 'thank you for your generous gift' and then told them what we were going to use it for. Some of it we used to pay for excursions on our honeymoon, some we used to upgrade our photography package, etc. Obviously this didn't apply to all of them, so some people I just said that we really appreciated their thoughtfulness and we were saving the money to put towards something our future together. hth xxx

Have just ordered our Thank You cards and for anyone who gave us money was thinking of thanking them for their very generous gift, was much appreciated by us etc.
