Or am I confusing him with someone else? Was he Liverpulian (SP)?? I cant get that song out of my head now!! Grrrr :wv

My favourite painting is by Jack B Yeats. It's called There Is No NIght and hangs in HUgh Lane gallery in Dublin. Not very good image of it. I have a print framed above my bed. My MIL informed me it's very hard on the eye and reacted with shock when I told her it was my favourite painting. :o0

Interesting thread!! I've only got into art since meeting hubby as he studied art and every city we go to now, we always take in 2 or 3 galleries! Kandinsky & Klimt are two of my favs but for sheer beauty I cannot get enough of Rousseau, so beautiful and almost dreamlike, I LOVE him!! There was an amazing exhibition in IMMA a few years ago called Cobra, artists from a few European countries and there was a painter in it and his stuff was just divine, I wish I could remember his name ..........so annoying O:| O:| O:| O:|
