Bit of a brain fart but I was reading about how there's feverish speculation about her being pregnant because *GASP* she didn't eat peanut paste and was touching her tummy during a recent Danish visit. It's bad enough for normal people to be asked "Is there any news" when you might not want kids or are having problems or simply aren't ready for the, but imagine having the speculation splashed over the international press about whether you're up the duff.

Feel so sorry for her and she seems to be getting thinner and thinner in every picture taken off her, which probably isn't helping if they are ttc

Ya is must be awful for her, sitting in her guilded cage, while recession and finiancial chaos is hitting the most vunerable of society.
Id say she might be ok, dont ya think. Im sure she doesnt pick up every newspaper that says something about her.
I dont want to sound bitter, but i wouldnt hate to be Kate. She has a great life to be fair.

Its a weird old set up in the UK if you ask me.
She gets elevated to Royalty, all because of some blood line, which means the tax payer ( ever struggling tax payer ) gets to pay for her very privilaged lifestyle.
Some might say our goverment behaves exactly the same, but never the less, it doesnt make it right. Topic for another day perhaps.

I wouldn't hate it for a minute.
What a great life she has and will have, travelling and meeting the most important people of our generation, they have inmense privileges, and she seems to be in a very loving marriage.
Also they seem to be clever enough to know how to play the media. She knows perfectly well what any gesture like touching her tummy will be perceived.
Plus, only thinking about this now, if they were going to have fertility problems, they will avail to the best fertility specialists, technics, whatever exist.
So no, I wouldnt hate it at all.

Apparently the Royal Family cost each UK taxpayer 80p per year. I'm not for or against them but there seems to be this widespread misconception that UK taxpayers are forking out lots of money on their behalf and its not true.

Multiply 80p by 60 million and it's not to be sniffed at!

Oh I know that, but per individual its not this huge amount that people seem to think it is.
