I normally do my own make up and have often done clients wedding make up myself before but didn't want to deal with the stress of doing my own on the day. Personally I don't leave anyone near my face and would consider myself extremely fussy when it comes to make up so I was very sceptical going to any make up artist.
I'm from Kerry and was getting married in Meath which made make up trials quite difficult due to distant. After having to a make up artist and not being happy with the outcome, I found Michelle who was honestly amazing!! Her response to email was so quick and even before meeting her she gave me a sense of reassurance that I would get sorted.
She pays so much attention to detail (I.e the style of your wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses and overall colour scheme of the day) to achieve the perfect make up look on the day.
She listens to what you need, but also recommends make up looks that suit your face type (highlighting the natural contour of my cheekbones, opening up the eyes as mine are quite small and bringing a natural bridal glow on the day which is what every bride wants!)
On the day Michelle went above and beyond any expectations I might have had. She chatted away to everyone and brought down the wedding jitters on the day with words of reassurance and encouragement.

Where to start!! I was given Michelle's details from our hairdresser and had no prior experience with her as we were getting married away from home. From the word go she was a complete professional in her field from advising me on my pre-wedding skincare, giving helpful tips at my trial, her attention to detail, relaxed yet organised manner, to her overall experience. It was invaluable on the day as she effortlessly worked through 8 excited ladies on the morning. She had her work cut out for her and she was just phenomenal. Our make up was flawless, natural and lasted all day. So many people complimented it during the day and considering it was such a big bridal party with lots of different skin tones and types, I think it speaks volumes when we were all over the moon with the results. Michelle's calm, friendly approach was a breath of fresh air and I cannot thank her enough for the superb job she did but for also going above and beyond her role. She wasn't just a make-up artist but a time-manager, organiser, mammy, re-assurer, comedian... she was just first class and was a pleasure to have on my big day. Michelle was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. She is an amazing make up artist and worked her magic to make myself and my entire bridal party feel amazing on the big day. Our makeup was flawless and stayed in place all day and even through to the night time after all the dancing. I first met Michelle when she was recommended to a friend I was bridesmaid for. I loved my make up so much that day that she was the first supplier I booked for my own wedding. I even put off confirming the church and venue until I knew Michelle was available!

Michelle gives great tips on skin care and the look she delivers is the "best version of yourself". Everyone's make up lasted all day & night without ever looking or feeling heavy and each individual look was age appropriate from my Mum in her 70's right down to my teenage niece who "doesn't do make up".

I first heard of Michelle through my friend as I was planning my wedding from Sydney. After hearing such rave reviews and having complete trust in my friend's opinion, I emailed Michelle over the Christmas break. Michelle was incredibly responsive and made me feel like her priority even though my wedding was 12 months away.
I didn't meet with Michelle until my make-up trial which was 6 days before the actual wedding day (as I was only flying in from Australia the week before). She was extremely accommodating as normally the trial is 10 weeks prior.
Michelle listened to what I wanted and I was blown away by the look, I never looked so good! She also gave me great tips for the type of make up I should wear for the climate that I'm living in.
On the morning of the wedding, Michelle was super relaxed yet professional, she had everything set up within 5 mins, there was no stress whatsoever. She had everyone's make up on and top ups of lips with plenty of time for us all to have a champagne before going to the church. Everyone looked and felt gorgeous, thanks to her amazing style.
My photographer and Michelle knew each other from previous weddings which made for a great synergy between the two.

Michelle was brilliant from start to finish. Very professional in her response to my initial enquiry, great at arranging a trial that suited me, and she listened to the concerns I had because I don't normally wear alot of makeup and made some great recommendations on how to care for my skin on lead up to the big day. Although it was the most makeup I've ever worn I felt polished and it was perfect for the occasion, the photos looked flawless (I should add here that I was also dealing with a pretty bad kidney infection at the time and a strong course of antibiotics and my complexion was not at its best, but she was able to deal with that). I always felt like I was in the hands of someone who was on top of her profession.
On the morning of the wedding she really helped ease the nerves, it felt like we had another friend in the room with us rather than someone just there to do a job. I was also quite surprised how reasonable her rates were and I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone.

Michelle was absolutely brilliant! She was very accomodating of fitting my trial in when I was only over from Australia for a 2 week window, and totally understood the look I was going for. I have never felt more beautiful, elegant and classy than I did on my wedding day, thanks to Michelle's amazing work! Michelle was very responsive to emails, always replying within a day. From the beginning Michelle was so professional. It started with her first email advising how to prepare skin for the wedding day even for the groom.

Having had a few make trials with other make up artists and being quite disillusioned I was nervous trialling another. Michelle put me instantly at ease with her friendly but very professional nature. She spent a lot of time with me in the trial understanding what I liked or didn't like. Trying various colours and looks till I was fully happy with every aspect of it. On the day Michelle blended in with the wedding party and everyone felt very comfortable with her. Michelle was recommended to me by a friend. I dont wear much make so was quite nervous about getting trials and selecting a make up artist as I just wanted to look like myself. Michelle was brilliant from the start, gave me so much advice on my skin and products to try. She was so friendly and took on board any concerns I had. My make up on the day was just fab, and lasted all day. After 150 people kissing me on the way out of the church I was sure my cheek would be bare, but I didnt even need a touch up for the whole day and night, just a bit of lippy after my meal. Couldnt recommend her enough!

Michelle is a very talented MUA. She achieved the exact look I wanted for my wedding. She used a mixture of designer brands that were just gorgeous. And lasted all day long. she is such a lovely person, very friendly and professional. Michelle is extremely professional and offered very helpful hints and tips to improve the condition of my skin at the trial to help the make-up sit better on my wedding day. I am not sure if words can express how amazing I think Michelle is. She exceeded my expectations in every way and went far and beyond to make my wedding make up flawless. Michelle is excellent, she did the make-up for the bridal party for my sister's wedding in 2015 and I had absolutely no hesitation in booking her for my wedding. I met Michelle at the wedding day fair in tankardstown house January 2016. Michelle is super professional, had my trial and was given brilliant advice for skincare to prepare for wedding. On the day itself my makeup was fantastic..and didn't budge all day. Just needed some lip gloss reapplied! Michelle even went as far as to fix my hair which became a bit loose before the ceremony! Michelle was the make up artist for my wedding in Ballymagarvey Village a few weeks ago and she really is an artist! She did the makeup for myself, my mum, and my three bridesmaids. My youngest bridesmaid is 15 and my mum is in her 50s, so there was a fairly broad age spectrum, nevertheless, we were all delighted with the results!!

I can't recommend Michelle highly enough! I arranged my wedding in Ireland from California and one of the biggest stress factors was trying to find suppliers that would actually respond to emails! Michelle was very responsive right from the start and all the way up to my wedding day. On the day, she was incredibly professional and her approach was very calming and soothing and I felt like I was being really pampered the entire time I was on her chair having my make up done. She did such an amazing job, not only on my make up, but for my bridesmaids and the two mums. I never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day and a huge part of that was down to the make up. My make up lasted all day and into the wee hours of the morning, with only a few touch ups required. I wish I could have Michelle on speed dial to do my make up all the time!

Michelle was fantastic. First of all, I live abroad and could only be home for a small window to have my makeup trial. She went to so much effort to work around her schedule to fit me in and was extremely flexible and understanding when I had to cancel at short notice due to a health emergency.

Next, the makeup itself. I am not someone who wears a lot of makeup and Michelle did a really wonderful job creating a natural look that lasted literally the entire day. She also did my bridesmaid as well as my Mum's makeup (which she just threw into the deal).

That leads me finally to the value. For the standard of work and personal effort she brings, Michelle is extremely reasonable. As I mentioned, she did the entire bridal party and my Mum's makeup in a package deal.

in Cork and it was my favourite makeup look I have ever had done! My skin was flawless and she
