I had the pleasure of having Anita do my bridal party hair over the weekend. I don’t have enough words to say how good the whole experience was. She was so professional, and yet great fun which was exactly what you want on your wedding morning. She has us all so chilled out and but knew what we should be doing and when to make sure the day ran smoothly. I can 110% recommend Anita on your wedding day, she done an amazing job and her work got so many complements on the day from our guests

Anita was absolutely incredible. I would highly recommend her to any future brides out there. She listened carefully to each of my bridesmaids and my Mum and created exactly what they individually wanted. Anita couldn’t have been better with me too. From my trial to the final touches she was such a calming presence and really had me at ease from start to finish. Her expertise shine through. I absolutely loved what she did with my hair with all of our styles lasting into the wee hours. Thanks so much for everything Anita x

Anita was my top choice of wedding hairstylists and I'm so glad she was part of our wedding day. Even before the wedding, during hair trials she gave some great tips about hair colour for the day. I was so undecided about hair styles for the day and she was so patient and understanding and made lots of suggestions which I really appreciated. On the day she created such a relaxed atmosphere in the house and made us all feel so at ease, it was just so lovely. She made changes and listened so attentively to make me feel and look my best on the day. The bridesmaids hair was stunning and everyone was so happy. She helped secure the veil and it was in place and didn't budge until I wanted to take it out - and it was such a windy day too! When it was time to leave she even gave us those little reminders to ensure we were all set for the day. Thank you so much Anita x

I would highly recommend Anita to anyone looking for a bridal stylist! She was confident, efficient, and genuinely cared about making sure everyone was 100% satisfied with their hair. I was indecisive about what type of style I wanted however, Anita's advice over the previous months was greatly appreciated and she assured me that there would be plenty of time the morming of the wedding for changes were needed. She made the morning feel stress free and even had plenty of time to talk and be friendly to my two little girls. Anita is professional, experienced and creative and you can be sure you're in good hands if you choose The Hair Lounge for your wedding day.

I'm so glad that I found Anita to do mine and my bridal parties hair.
Anita was both professional and friendly from the start. She listened exactly to want I wanted and our hair held up great for the entire day. She was so calm on the morning of the wedding (even though she has myself and four bridesmaid to style) and went the extra mile to help out on the morning in any way she could.
If you want a professional, friendly haidresser who will put you at ease on the morning of your wedding I would highly recommend Anita.

I had the best experience with Anita Hughes when it came to my bridal hair. I had a trial and she listened attentively to my requests and notes after our trial. She recommended a hair prep the night before the wedding which definitely made a big difference, my hair was full of life and had a good volume for the following morning.
On the wedding day she made me feel very relaxed and I knew my hair was in safe hands. I was extremely happy with the final look and she went above and beyond with all the bridesmaids styles, Anita even managed to do my little sister's hair in no time just before the ceremony. I would highly recommend Anita as she is a great expert when it comes to bridal hair, thank you !

I couldn't recommend Anita & her amazing team enough . Not only is Anita extremely professional , she also has a great sense of humour & we had so many laughs along the way of our wedding journey . Weddings can be stressful & she really knows how to destress the whole situation. I even changed my hairstyle on day of wedding & she was absolutely exceptional at the end result considering short last min change . I've been a customer since & I really enjoy catching up with Anita and team every time I pop into the salon .

Where do I start with Anita, the hairdresser I had chosen for our big day, she was like having another bridesmaid, she couldn't of done any more for me from the minute she arrived. All of us girls loved our hair, she listened to what we wanted and then created a style that didn't budge all day! Not only did Anita do a fabulous job making us look beautiful but on the morning of the wedding she was doing everything else too from taking photos to helping people put Jewellery/outfits on. She didn't have to be asked which was even more wonderful she just did everything so discreetly that she seen that needed to be done. When we were leaving she made sure to tell us how to fluff out our curls to ensure they were perfect for each picture and even gave me a brush to make sure they were brushed out and looking perfect.
On top of that she brought a great buzz to the house, building the atmosphere on the morning so it's not just hair (which was flawless) Anita did for us on our wedding day but everything else too. I couldn't recommend her enough.

I have been going to Anita for years as my hair stylist and she was the only person I trusted to look after me and my bridal party for my wedding day.
Anita has such a passion for hair and an understanding of upstyles, Anita and her team at the hair lounge are up to date with the newest hair styles and everything bridal.
I was so comfortable and felt so looked after the morning of my wedding, I had a 1 year old and a 3 year old at the time. Anita being a mammy herself had no problem dealing with a busy house. I know Anita years, and she went above and beyond for me when my 1 year old needed a nap before the wedding, after all the hair-do's were all sorted Anita drove my little man to the Chapel letting him snooze on the way.
When it comes to picking a stylist for your wedding, your getting so much more with the hair lounge, they treat you like family and I always feel comfortable in their hands. I felt like a total clich? princess on my wedding morning and that was thanks to Anita. My hair was exactly what I wanted and somehow more that what I imagined I felt beautiful.

I?d highly recommend Anita for bridal hair. She ran the morning of my wedding, only for Anita we wouldn't have been ready in time. Anita had 8 women to look after that morning including me with the thickest head of hair and not a bother to Anita, she had us all ready with time to spare. I loved my up-style it was exactly what I asked for and stayed in all night. My bridesmaids, mother of the bride and sisters all loved how Anita styled their hair for the day too. Anita was a calm presence for us that morning. Anita is the best in the best in the business, I couldn't recommend her enough.

Anita did my hair for my wedding in Decemeber 2020. It was covid times which prevented me from meeting with Anita or getting a hair trial before the big day! Turns out, I didn't need a trial.... my hair was perfection- everything I wanted and more. We had a few phonecalls before, chats about how to prep my hair etc. On the morning of the wedding Anita was an amazing addition to the fun and laughter. She stayed with us until the last minute and features in lots of my prep photos! I kept in touch with Anita afterwards as I had twins not long later and she helped me with my baby hair/general hair health! She is a complete professional and a wedding hair wizard. 10/10 and if recommend her to anyone.

Anita and her team got my hair wedding day ready from colour, cut, extensions and styling along with my bridal party. They slotted me in for last minute appointments when I had to change my wedding day plans, including date and venue owing to Covid-19 restrictions. Anita was so attentive and reassuring throughout and not only delivered what I had requested but exceeded my expectations with a beautiful soft and textured upstyle that lasted the entire day.
