Annette Smyth - Make-Up Artist

I recently got married Oct 2014..I had heard about Annette for a long time but when my friend had Annette as the MUP artist for her wedding in 2013 I got the taste first hand of her fabulous work and even though I wasn't engaged I had her booked in my head for my wedding the following year. I would be very fussy with makeup and products used, and it was an added bonus that Anette uses only the best ie Mac, Est?e Lauder.
Because I had her apply my makeup when I was a bridesmaid I was happy to have no trial for my own wedding.
We discussed what I wanted the morning of the wedding, I had one wish "all about the lips" and Anette and I agreed on a fabulous tone of lipstick "girl about town" by mac. Looking at photos now I'm so glad I did the daring look and didnt play the safe card ( keeping neutral tones)
There was five bridesmaids too, and I can honestly say they looked absolutely gorgous, they were all so delighted with their look and happy bridesmaids equals happy bride.
Anette was so thorough and the whole morning was so calm!

I couldn't have met a more professional person than Annette. I first met Annette for my wedding trial. She was amazing. She knew exactly what would suit and tried out various ideas. The morning of my wedding, Annette went to my hotel and set up for my big day. She did my best woman, two of my sisters and one of my best friends. Each of the girls came out of the room both in shock that they looked so good!! I loved my makeup for my wedding, Annette took such care, my colours were perfect and Annette knew exactly what would suit me. She made me feel at ease and we had a good laugh also. I couldn't recommend this girl highly enough. If you want to look amazing for your special day - well Annette is the girl to bring your dream of looking amazing into reality.

It was a best ever experience ever i had as i never really get make up done by make up artists.
I planed my wedding very late and everything had to be quick organized . I didn't had a trial before but i had seen and heard very good recommendations from loads of brides. i seen Annette s work in action as i am a hairdresser my self and do more than 50 wedding in the year and i was meeting Annette in many wedding parties in the morning. i straight away knew if i ever get married she will be the professional for my make up. I seen so many brides done by her that i didn't had a second tout to book her for my make up. My bridesmaid Alison was transformed from lady in 40 ties to a Hollywood star, her husband after 20 years of marriage was looking at his wife as he was falling in love again she looked amazing her make up was just beautiful. My make up stayed more than a day as i was so busy to take it of in the morning. It was such a great day and i looked and felt beautiful. Thanks so much Annette for the wonderful make up.

My bridesmaids and I could not have asked for a more relaxed, fun, and stress-free morning than the one spent with Annette on my wedding day. Not only did she make us look exceptionally beautiful that day, but we had a great time joking and having fun, she made me feel so at ease. Also, right from the beginning Annette spent time to get to know what I wanted at my trial and really listened to what I liked and what look I was hoping to achieve for the wedding. Aside from being a great listener, Annette is incredibly professional and highly skilled at her job. My makeup looked stunning and was flawless and my guests were commenting that it looked just as great at the end of the night 4am, as it did at the church that afternoon (and I was dancing all night and sweating quite a bit, so the fact that my makeup remained intact is a testament to Annette and her magic!). I can honestly say that aside from finding a fabulous makeup artist, I have also found a friend in Annette. I would highly recommend her to any bride! Thanks for everything Annette.
