Astir Odysseus Kos Resort & Spa - Greece

We spent our Honeymoon here, it was magic” We booked this hotel not knowing what to expect. My new husband was very skeptical regarding All inclusive holidays but buckled under the pressure from me. I did my homework and went through many, many hotels in Greece read loads of reviews and this hotel was the only hotel with no bad reviews. It was the second week in October which meant we might expect rain so we needed a swimming pool
and things to do do just in case (the weather was fantastic). When we arrived the receptionist was so pleasant and said "she would do something for us" when my new husband mentioned it was our honeymoon. The room was wonderful, everything was better than we expected (an upgrade we think). When we returned to our room the next day we found Rose petals in a heart shape on the bed with a swan made from the towels with Rose petals sprinkled over it, the bathroom was also sprinkled with petals. Next a delivery of champagne in a cooler, chocolates, biscuits and a huge bowel of fresh fruit compliments of the hotel. What a wonderful surprise most unexpected. We are quite active so hired cycles from the hotel, cycled all over the island at a very reasonable price. The food was excellent (I was worried as my husband is very critical about his food, one of the reasons we don't often eat in hotels) the choice was varied and good quality. Food was available nearly every minute of the day, we often missed lunch as we were out but afternoon tea (again excellent) was served between lunch and dinner, I was worried about the weight I was putting on during our stay. ?We are not big drinkers but if we wanted alcohol drinks they were available (free of charge if the drinks were not available we were given options). I am a coffee drinker and certainly enjoyed them.
The facilities were excellent, three great pools with very friendly staff, yoga and zumba by the pool. All in all we would return to Cos and to this hotel thanks to all the staff at the Astri Odysseus.
