Casa Santonja was built in the late nineteenth century and is privately owned by Carlos Gadea and his family and is only rented out for events - It is not open to the public. This venue allows for total intimacy & private usage solely for you & your guests. Casa Santonja can offer several beautiful spots of great beauty perfect to host the most fantastic wedding. There is no accommodation at the Casa for guests; however, there is a bridal suite that is complementary for the wedding day to use throughout the day.

A huge thank you to Marcella, Beth, Lorraine, and the entire team for making our dream wedding a reality. From the very beginning, the planning process was seamless including accomodation and day 2 options. Marcella was incredibly supportive throughout and recommended an amazing team of suppliers, every one of whom was fantastic and worked together effortlessly to create the most incredible day. I can't stress the ease of this for an abriad wedding enough. They worked together as a team and they became part of our day, not suppliers.
On the wedding day itself, Lorraine was there from the early hours, making sure everything was exactly as it should be while we enjoyed getting ready with our bridal party. Knowing that Marcella had everything taken care of meant we could completely relax and soak up every moment without worrying about a thing.
Throughout the entire journey, we always felt our wedding was in the safest hands. Every detail was thoughtfully managed, even down to coordinating our coloured smoke bombs to match our bridesmaids for our photos, which made for some unforgettable memories.
One thing everyone commented on was the hospitality. We were promised there would be never-ending food and drink, and El Poblet absolutely delivered! Our guests were looked after so incredibly well from start to finish, and we've had countless compliments about the quality of the food, the service, and how attentive every member of staff was throughout the day and evening.
We honestly can't thank Marcella and her team enough for all of their hard work, care, professionalism, and genuine kindness. They played such a huge part in creating memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
One of my friends said once you accept your wedding day won't be perfect, you'll be fine, but mine was, and it was down to a brilliant team who delivered our dream day for us and more importantly our guests.

We fell in love with Casa Santonja when we first visited, but somehow it was even more beautiful on the actual day. One of our favourite things about the venue is that you have access to so many different areas, so the day naturally moves around the grounds and every part feels like a new experience. The gardens are absolutely stunning, and even though we got married on a very hot July day, there was plenty of shade for our guests during the ceremony.
The whole venue just feels incredibly special. Walking down the aisle with the music playing and seeing all of our family and friends there is something I'll never forget. So many of our guests commented afterwards on how beautiful and unique the venue was.
And then there's the Rave Cave! Moving everyone down there after dinner was probably one of the standout moments of the whole wedding. By that point everyone was more than ready for a party, and the entrance into the cave completely changed the atmosphere. Our guests are still talking about it now. The space is actually Casa Santonja's historic *aljibe*, which has been converted into a party/event space.
We had so many people tell us it was one of the best weddings they'd ever been to, and Casa Santonja was such a huge part of that.
If we had to choose our venue all over again, we genuinely wouldn't change a thing. It was the perfect setting for the best day of our lives.
