From clubs to corporate events, weddings to wine promotions, he has successfully provided the perfect backdrop for literally hundreds of occasions- all of them unique and treated with care and attention to detail.Colin started DJing as a teenager in the Waterfront Rock Café back in the summer of . At that time, rock and indie music had been making waves on the Irish music scene, and he quickly established himself as one of the best in the business when it came to “alternative” nights. He moved to the renowned McGrath’s on O’Connell Street, Dublin within a few years and responding to the trend at the time, he successfully integrated dance music into his sets.As time passed and his reputation grew, Colin was hired as one of the elite Diageo DJs who travelled the country each week entertaining the masses at various drinks promotion events. He built up somewhat of a following, and his popularity soon led to a break into the radio industry. Colin began on pirate radio station Sunshine, but also hosted shows on CKR, Radio Kerry, Tipp FM and the after work party dj for Radio Nova. By this time, with the promotions and radio gigs, Colin was able to start investing in some ground breaking technology.Colin was one of the pioneers of computerised DJ sets, while also providing top of the range lighting for events. He frequently updates all his equipment to stay on trend, and has rigs that provide the exact atmosphere that a client requires. From soft romantic lighting, to x-factor style spotlights, Colin successfully matches his sound and lighting perfectly for every occasion be it a Christmas party or a student ball. He has overseen some of the most high profile functions in the country including the annual UCD Ball and The Royal College of Surgeon’s Ball.Although music is his speciality Colin is also very comfortable on a microphone. He used to host many events during his time working for Diageo, and he ?ne-tuned his skills when he took to the airwaves. With a clear and precise tone, he has acted as MC for many corporate functions and fashion shows, adding his own flair to the scripting.Looking back over his colourful career, Colin has the fondest memories of interacting with the crowd at various promotional events around the country. While he begins each set with a running order in mind, he loves the challenge of reading the different audiences and gleefully takes on the challenge of pleasing everyone.
