From the 1st contact with Davey Music everything was top class. Patrick was so responsive to any queries and such a friendly person so we knew everything was in hand. For our wedding in Moyvalley Hotel we have Davey Music play straight after the meal in the bar in Balyna House. It got everyone moving after the meal so there was no lull. Everyone commented how great Davey Music were and that it was a great idea to go straight into some lively music after the meal. In the blur of the wedding day I have a great memory of being spun around the floor by a friend to the brilliant music. The English contingent at the wedding really loved the music too. Also before our 5 year old daughter went up to bed with the babysitter they even played one of her favourite songs Galway Girl for her. Just such a lovely touch. If you’re looking for a great Irish trad musicians, look no further than Patrick and his group. They were just amazing! It was really lovely to arrive at our reception venue and hearing the music filtering out from the front door. All of our guests were delighted with the music, especially the ones that came from abroad. This group is not just talented, but also very lovely people. Patrick made the entire process, from start to finish, very easy. They’re very much a pleasure to work with and we would very much recommend them to anyone looking for great reception music.

Patrick and Clare preformed at our wedding ceremony in March 2023! We were blown away by their talent! Patrick was so prompt in responding to any queries/worries/advice I required in the run up to the wedding and helped me choose appropriate music from a wide selection! I had some requests of certain songs I wanted and this was no issue! We had requested vocals also and Clare Galway provided us with the most beautiful singing voice I have heard! I had decided I wanted a old time fav for church entrance ( shania Twain from this moment) and all our guests stated they had goosebumps with how beautiful it sounded! Patrick is phenomenal on the Uilleann pipes especially along with flute & whistle. Clare also provided music on fiddle and piano! Our guests commented on how beautiful the music was! We are so delighted to have had Patrick, Clare and Wilson from Davey Music play at our wedding ceremony in St Brigid's Church, Oldcastle! The music throughout the mass was absolutely beautiful, it was exactly what we hoped it would be! Patrick is excellent to communicate with, he's so nice and he was so happy to collaborate with us to make sure everything was suited to our tastes. Patrick was a dream to work with from start to finish, great communication, amazing musician and a true gentleman. I wouldn’t change a thing, the ceremony music was Celtic and so moving, and then we had the lively drinks reception which really set the tone for the day as everyone was ready to party. You can tell how passionate he is about his music. A lovely touch was when Patrick gathered all the guests for one last song, Auld Lang Syne, to send us off in the new year. Patrick and the gang made our wedding day feel extra special with their trad session just after dinner. They got everybody in the dancing mood and really added something a little different to day. I cannot recommend Davey music enough. Before our big day we FaceTimed Patrick & he helped us with all the little details during our service music. On the day the guys arrived early to set up and played beautifully while our guests arrived. During the service the music was perfect (playing a mixture of instrumental and singing) we couldn’t have been any happier. After the service the guys set up at our drinks reception and played a traditional Irish set. Again they were first class and went down a storm with our guests. The guys were extremely friendly and interacted with our guests brilliantly. Once again I can’t thank you enough for helping to make our day special.

Davey Music were all that we ever could have wanted for our chapel and reception music on our wedding day. Ben and I are so grateful for the wonderful music, Davey Music provided for our special day . It was beautiful and, as the music meant so much to me especially. Davey Music have been with Ben and I through four COVID postponements, and one postponement due to the death of my father . They never failed to treat us with compassion and patience throughout. The music was absolutely out of this world , with many guests commenting on the gorgeous singing, the wonderful fiddle playing , and the haunting flute and whistle . Patrick Davey had composed a jig for our wedding, and it was incredibly special, I felt that Patrick had , from his years of teaching me, captured my personality. He even framed it for me and it will take pride of place in our new house! It was absolutely perfect and words are not enough to express our gratitude. Thank you so much for everything. We absolutely loved it.

From the moment we discovered Davey Music, we were captivated. We had our initial meeting with Patrick over video call to discuss our ceremony and drinks reception music and Patrick would play the tin whistle to let us hear each song, it was like a mini concert and we were blown away by his professionalism and attention to detail. There was a song I always wanted to walk down the Ailse to- It is called In Reverence by David Tolk. I spoke to Patrick about it and he was absolutely on board to learn this with the other extremely talented musicians. I will never forget the moment i heard them play this song as my Bridesmaids started to walk. It hit me so hard and my eyes filled up and it was the most beautiful piece I had ever heard. Davey music put their hearts into everything they play and we had so many people comment on how stunning and haunting the music was and wanted to know more about who we had chosen. Paddy has been an absolute pleasure to work with through the preparation for the music for our wedding! Having had to move the date 3 times for us due to COVID-19, Paddy was always very easy to work with and keep us at ease! Having played with 'Davey Music' over the years, knowing how professional and personal Paddy is, always putting the couple first, I knew we would be in safe hands. Paddy met with us both and was very respectful to our wants and wishes as to how we wanted the music to add to our Special Day. We even had one specific request for I Giorni, a piano piece that was very special to us both. Paddy was able to deliver this for us by requesting Claire to play at the wedding to accommodate this for us. The guests also commented on how beautiful the singing and playing was, some feeling quite unexpectedly emotional due to it's beauty! Paddy and his team also came and provided music for our drinks reception at the Dunadry Hotel, with it being a beautiful day, they set up outside where our guests were. The feedback was that they 'really helped to set the vibe' for our guests to relax and enjoy their day even more than they imagined they would. We would personally like to thank Paddy and his amazing team for helping to add so much to our Wedding Day and to make it even more special than we had thought it could be. My niece got married at Field of Dreams. I was delighted to hear that Davey Music was providing music for the ceili. The music was absolutely amazing and the dancing was the most fun you can have at a wedding. All guests getting up to dance and loving the music and craic. We have been following Davey music for years and were delighted Patrick & his fellow musicians (finally) got to play at our wedding! Their kindness & professionalism was greatly appreciated when we had to postpone more than once due to covid. Their talents are endless & I can’t begin to explain how special it was that they were able to learn a song for the bridal entrance from my favourite film! They even learnt the song on piano, which was brought along on the day - although we had only booked the flute harp & fiddle package! We came all the way from New York to have our wedding at Mussenden Temple in Northern Ireland, and to have the amazing sounds of Patrick’s trad band echoing throughout our venue was such a special touch. We booked Patrick for the ceremony and drinks reception music of the Irish part of our Indian-Irish wedding. Half of our guests had never heard Irish traditional music before so we were really excited for them to hear it and Patrick, Ciara and Clare certainly did not disappoint! I had listened to Patrick’s version of Canon in D over and over again before the wedding and I couldn’t wait to have it played as I walked down the aisle. I was getting married in a woodland setting and wanted an enchanted feel with dreamy music and Patrick gave me everything I wanted and more. Patrick played the flute, tin whistle and uIilleann pipes, Ciara Maguire played the fildde and Ciara Taaffe played the harp. They were all incredible and are extremely talented. They made our day so extra special and I cannot thank them all enough. There was one song I had chosen for the wedding ceremony which I wanted to change slightly as I wanted this to be played on the uIilleann pipes and honestly it wasn’t any bother in the slightest. Every time I listen back to the music chosen for the wedding ceremony it gives me goosebumps and brings back so many happy memories. Where do I begin? When we first listened to you playing on YouTube we knew we had to book you for our big day! It is never easy trying to plan a wedding but with covid and living in London made it even harder! However, Patrick you were fantastic. Anytime I contacted you via email, you replied straight away and I felt like over the many months of planning we got to know each other. It was so special knowing you were traveling from one island to another for our big day. You were all out of this world and everyone was asking about you all! You went out of your way to make sure all was perfect on the day and it was so much fun travelling out together on the ferry! To stand outside the church and see and hear everything coming together was just such a surreal yet amazing feeling, the music was so beautiful. I am a Belfast girl living in the USA. I knew I wanted an Irish themed wedding and having heard Paddy and his band play at events before I just knew I wanted them for my own wedding. From the outset Paddy was so lovely (he should be a wedding planner) and gave me great advice.I had to reschedule due to Covid and he was so efficient and communication was excellent. I'm so glad I found Davey music! Once I seen the clip of the braveheart tune that was them booked. Couldn't ask for any better, beautiful music and a delight to communicate with. Planning a wedding during Covid wasn't easy, not meeting people who are part of your wedding but Patrick video called and went through everything, even gave us a wee sample on the tin whistle. We weren't sure on what we needed for a civil ceremony but he knew how to put together the pieces we wanted and it was just perfect. We fell in love with Patrick's music the second we watched his videos. We contacted him straight away and from day one he was a pleasure to deal with! Patrick was one of our favourite suppliers to work alongside as he replied promptly to every email, and kindly answered any questions we had, he was always so polite and we got good vibes off him straight away. He made organising our wedding music a breeze! Patrick has a lovely easy going nature and gentle personality. Patrick travelled a very long distance for us and he suggested a collaboration with the wonderful Fiana Ní Chonaill (harpist). We found Patrick and Fiana were very reasonably priced despite the distance travelled (Belfast to Offaly and Limerick to Offaly), the time and effort they put into our ceremony and drinks reception music including Patrick travelling from Belfast to Limerick before our wedding to practice with Fiana, and their time to answer emails and take video calls. We received huge compliments from our guests about how beautiful our ceremony music was. It really added to our ceremony and tugged on the heart strings! There wasn't a dry eye in the room, and it was perfect from start to finish. Patrick played beautifully on the low whistle, tin whistle and uileann pipes and Fiana blew us away especially with her solo performance on the harp. We also received a lot of compliments on our drinks reception music, they both played some lively tunes to get everyone in the mood to start the party. They really set the tone for a great evening. The music was played at a perfect volume, loud enough that it could be heard in the background and enjoyed but not too loud that people were able to hold a conversation without raising their voices over the music. This is something that we ALWAYS notice at weddings, there's nothing worse than not being able to chat comfortably to people because the music is too loud! It is impossible to put into words how DELIGHTED we were with the music at our wedding. From the minute I stumbled upon Patrick Davey music to the minute we said goodbye after our drinks reception finished, the experience with Patrick and his colleagues was perfect. I loved listening to all of the YouTube videos available in the run up to the wedding - which was a year longer due to postponing it last year. An exceptionally special treat provided by Davey music for my daughter's wedding in Enniskerry on Saturday past. Patrick composed a lovely wedding march tune for her, perfect for the day, and which captured the mood perfectly as the new couple made their grand entrance to the ballroom at Powerscourt Estate. When a combination os circumstances meant that Patrick was unable to attend the event to play, he organised a superb four piece band, the Wild Turkeys. Patrick - you did us all proud and made a memorable and very special occasion even more so. The new bride and groom are thrilled to bits with the framed copy of the sheet music you gave them - they will treasure it for ever. What can I say about Davey music they were just amazing!! We got married on the 22/10/21. From firstly contacting Patrick to make a decision on what I would like to include the instruments and musicians. I got in touch with Patrick after our wedding had been postponed for the 3rd time and our original musicians were no longer available. How lucky we were!!!! Patrick was so helpful when we got in contact to book our wedding music and the day we met him in Belfast he was so friendly and welcoming we knew he was going to be perfect for our day. He was so good to work with, and helped us choose songs for our mass. Our wedding was cancelled in March with covid and Patrick was so flexible and held multiple dates to try and work with us. On the day the church music was so beautiful, we loved it and our guests are still talking about it. Patrick and the girls Colleen and Aoife kindly travelled to kilronan and played beautiful music at our reception drinks. Not only this but they provided our nights music, they played our lovely wedding first song and despite covid our guests were on the dance floor (socially distanced) and loved the music. I just can't put into words how grateful I am to Patrick and his team for not only providing the best music both in the Church and at the venue but also for Patrick's interaction and service which went way beyond the call of duty. Patrick worked with us from the moment I made my first enquiry and was there every step of the long journey due to Covid and postponed wedding plans that ensued. A number of alternate dates were thrown at Patrick at very short notice and he obliged every time and ultimately put together a team of first class musicians who played at the Church and then availed themselves at the Pre-drinks Reception and even came back later on in the evening to play at the Evening Reception. Patrick met with me at his own time and went through the music and then asked to visit the Church so he could view the new post-Covid layout of the Church and arrange where his musicians could be accommodated etc. Service like this is a rarity! I would like to thank Patrick for all his efforts and also for the the very reasonable charge for literally providing a whole day of music, going back and forth from one venue to another. It is quite obvious that Patrick loves what he does and his charges do not reflect the time and effort he spends on delivering a first class service! Thank you Patrick - forever indebted to you!

We had Patrick play at our small outdoor ceremony at Laragh Lodge in Glenariff Forest Park and his performance could not have been more suitable. He was able to offer us a choice of tin whistle, pipes, and flute for the ceremony at a brilliant price for the quality that was supplied. Would highly recommend Davey Music for your big day. Very friendly and supportive in helping us decide what would suit our day best. Patrick talked us through the wide variety of instruments and/or vocals we could choose from and we decided on having them play during the ceremony and our drinks reception. Davey Music created exactly the type of atmosphere we were after. We had so many guests comment on how much they liked the music. We were planning our wedding from England and Patrick made it very easy to organise the music. We only had to give him a sense of the atmosphere we wanted to create and he provided lots of choices. This is long but it has to be said... Where do I start! Patrick and the team from Davey Music where AMAZING. The whole lead up to the wedding Patrick was in contact, responsive and informative. I pretty much knew the music I wanted, however, he guided me when I had ask questions. He was honestly just the best I could have asked for to support. On the day the group were out of this world. Everyone complemented the music at the church saying how different it was and how amazing the musicians were. Patrick is super talented playing the uilleann pipes, flute and whistle, he was joined by two stunning ladies, one who played the fiddle player and the other the harp and this lady had a beautiful voice. They continued to play more upbeat and traditional music back at Lough Eske Castle for the welcome drink and well if I could only upload the videos you would be able to see for yourself the crowed they had up dancing before dinner!!!!! They blew us away. It was a magical moment when they played their last piece of music I think it was and everyone was clapping, cheering and dancing whilst my husband and I did a video selfie of it all. I will always remember this music at my wedding and I put this down to Patrick and Davey Music for setting scene. They are incredible and I would recommend them to every bride looking for traditional Irish music.

From the first moments I saw a video of Patrick playing the uilleann pipes from our home in Australia, I knew that I had to have his beautiful music playing as I walked down the aisle. It would be fair to say the music he, Bronagh and Cathy provided was a highlight of our wedding for both us and our guests, and we had many guests comment on it. It was so stunningly beautiful. We also asked Patrick to compose an original piece in memory of a close family member. It was all we could have hoped for and more. To present this as a gift to someone close to us was so meaningful and made the day all the more special. We had the pleasure of having Davey Music perform for both our wedding ceremony and for our drinks reception afterwards. When putting together a list of music for the ceremony, Patrick was incredibly helpful from start to finish. My husband and I traveled to Ireland for a destination wedding. When we first reached out to Davey Music, they responded right away and were extremely communicative in the days leading up to the event. Not only were they responsive but they extremely friendly and very helpful in figuring out which songs would fit different parts of the ceremony best. When my then-fiancee and I had the idea of asking an Irish folk band to play at our wedding ceremony, we did some searching online but couldn't find many options - then we found Davey Music. We had a very clear idea of the sort of music we wanted and Davey Music absolutely delivered. Not only did they play the pieces and hymns we chose with zero fuss, they adapted things a little to our liking - including bringing a bodhrán player in and getting the speed of certain pieces just how we wanted them. All the guests seemed to love the music and many told us so on the day. We certainly did, it was just beautiful. Patrick was very professional and easy to talk to. From start to finish the service we received from Patrick was nothing short of 5*. From the help he provided us when choosing music for our mass. The music in the chapel was so beautiful provided by Patrick on the whistle and pipes, Mairead on the fiddle and Selina on the harp and vocals they even learned a new tune at our request for myself to walk up the aisle 'the little ones' by Maurice Lennon. Music was also provided for the drinks reception at the hotel where Patrick and Mairead were joined by Paul on the guitar and vocals, the place was hopping when we arrived. The music set a fun and lively atmosphere which lasted the night through.

Patrick was so helpful when it came to wedding ceremony music. We went to him with an open mind and came away satisfied with what we needed to do. We picked what we personally wanted played at the ceremony along with some suggestions from Patrick and although one of our songs was new to him, he was happy to listen and learn how to play this for us. What can I say about Patrick? He has been a great friend for years and of course it was the easiest decision to have him as part of our music at our wedding. Even when he found out he was organising 16 musicians he took it in his stride and organised practices to ensure everyone knew what they were doing. I picked his own composition 'An Island Lullaby' to walk down the aisle to and to say people are still talking about his pipe playing is an understatement! The music at our wedding was absolutely gorgeous - it’s exactly what I wanted! Many of my guests asked who they were so they could recommend them to others. Even when organising the music in advance (we didn’t have too many ideas!), Patrick was able to guide us through the wedding ceremony & advise us on what he thought would sound nice in the church. As it was a Christmas wedding l, he was able to get in a few Christmas tunes! Any changes I wanted to make closer to the day of the ceremony, Patrick was responsive and attentive. 5 stars aren’t enough for Patrick and his team at Davey Music. From the moment we made our initial enquiry last October Patrick was extremely engaging and helpful. His, Bronagh and Anna’s talent were there for all to see and they put together an amazing suite for our ceremony and drinks reception, learning some specially chosen movie tunes to supplement their vast and versatile repertoire. Patrick was extremely flexible throughout and handled some last minute changes with the utmost professionalism. His humour and kind nature during our final planning added to our enjoyment of the build up and it was a pleasure to have Bronagh, Anna and himself included in our day. Our guests were equally impressed (with one tune standing out particularly!) and we could not recommend Parick more. We look forward to hopefully seeing him and his musicians again at future friends and family weddings!

This is a long review, and that’s because I am still in awe at what Davey Music managed to pull off at my wedding. My sister and I were students of Patrick Davey’s years ago, and Davey Music had done a fantastic job at my sister’s wedding in Belfast in 2016. So, when my fiancé and I were organizing our wedding this year, I was really hoping to get Davey Music to play at ours. But, the big stumbling block was that we were getting married in Spain! I messaged Patrick and asked was there any possibility we could sort something out? After looking into the matter, we both realized that, logistically, it would be too complicated, as well as too expensive. I was disappointed but resigned - I had known when we booked the wedding that getting Davey Music to Spain might prove impossible. In order to have some Irish music, even if it wasn’t what I’d hoped for, we decided to have traditional music playing on the sound system in the background during the reception. Fast forward a few months and there we were, eating lovely Spanish food and enjoying the amazing weather, when all of a sudden Mr Patrick Davey’s voice boomed out of the ceiling with a pre-recorded message for me! I couldn’t believe my ears. How on earth was he on the sound system of a Spanish hotel?! He said he was sorry he couldn’t be there in person but he’d composed a tune in honour of the event and wished us all the very best in our married life. Then he played the tune and the entire place fell silent listening. I was so happy I cried - and then I prayed my makeup would stay the course! (It did, thankfully!) It turns out Patrick had conspired with my fiancé and my dad, not only to get his composition and message played at our wedding without me knowing anything about it, but also to have a beautiful framed copy of the music as well as a CD sent over from Belfast. Davey Music made our wedding day amazing without even being in the same country! Hats off to you, you did a brilliant job! Muchas gracias! The framed composition will have pride of place in our house.

I cannot speak highly enough of Patrick Davey music. He played alongside the beautiful Mairéad Forde and Ellís Lavelle at both our wedding ceremoney and also our drinks reception. From the minute we booked Patrick was extremly helpful and always at hand to answer any of our questions. I was at a wedding in Donegal in the summer and Davey music added to the ambience in the small quaint chapel. The music was just beautiful from the moment the bride walked up the aisle to the pre reception drinks. Would highly recommend Davey Music - could listen to them all day !!

Having Davey music play such an integral part of our wedding day was an easy decision and one we were so happy with! Patrick was a pleasure to work with beforehand and took on board everything we were trying to accomplish on the day, using music to highlight and reflect elements of 'us'. For my wife and I, music plays such a massive part of our lives and it was incredibly important to both of us that it was both spectacular and memorable. And it so was! With me being from Scotland and my wife from NI, Patrick was able to suggest music which complimented both of us, 'marrying' the two together with clever arrangements. So many of our wedding guests complimented the beauty of the music in the service and found it to be one of the many highlights of the day. For the service we opted for harp, flute, tin whistle, fiddle, uilean pipes and bagpipes. It was so lovely to have traditional Irish and Scottish instruments performing, especially since they'd be instruments which some of our guests wouldnt typically have the opportunity to embrace and enjoy. In the evening we opted for a ceili provided by The Blackstaff Ceili Band - the dance floor was never empty! The music was absoluely beautiful in the church and Patrick was very helpful with suggesting a mixture of appropriate liturgical and folk music for the mass with quick email responses. He was more than happy to learn new songs and we absolutely loved their version of 'stars' from les mis as i walked down the aisle! They also travelled to Ballymagarvey to play during our reception, everyone commented on how fantastic the music was, very talented musicians and can't thank them enough for the atmosphere they provided at our wedding!

I found Patrick through an entertainment agency and they were able to put me in touch with him via email to discuss my requests. From the beginning Patrick was extremely easy to liaise with and more than happy to accommodate my requests! On the day the music was sensational. Everyone commented on how wonderfully talented and friendly the musicians had been. They played our ceremony and also drinks reception. It was such beautiful weather that we asked Patrick and the girls if they would mind playing out in the garden and they were happy to do this. The musical backdrop was lovely and really added to the ambience. We had wanted a Trad feel to our day and they certainly provided this. I would highly recommend Davey music - they were very professional, friendly and helpful throughout the planning process. Patrick met with us a couple of times before the date including visiting the venue with us to check it over and was happy to accommodate our request to play outside. We had Patrick and the girls play the trio of harp, fiddle and flute during our wedding ceremony and drinks reception in December. The music they played during our ceremony was quite simply stunning! From the outset, Patrick was extremely professional, responsive and helpful in the planning stages. We didn't really have much of a clue regarding song choices for either the ceremony itself, the drinks reception or for while we were having dinner, however Patrick was able to guide us through, suggesting what he thought might suit each stage. As it turned out Davey Music's contribution to our special day was incredible. The music and hymns they played and sang during the ceremony were beautiful. The drinks reception was lively and entertaining and during dinner it provided a lovely atmosphere. I would highly recommend Patrick and his fella musicians. He was such a lovely person to deal with. He responded to all our queries immediately and made us feel reassured in our choices of music for our ceremony and evening reception. We could not have been more delighted with Davey Music on our wedding day. We are both musicians and music lovers, so choosing the musicians for our ceremony and drinks reception was very important. We had a harp, fiddle and uilleann pipes. I am Irish and my husband is French so it was great to have Irish musicians for both my Irish family and the the visiting French family. Everyone at the wedding enjoyed the music, and especially during the ceremony when there were a few tears it was so beautiful. Patrick is very quick to respond to messages and he is very accommodating - at the last minute my friend was unable to play for the ceremony and it was no trouble at all to ask him to play the ceremony too. The group also learned a new piece of music for my entrance, again Patrick was very accommodating and it was no trouble to them. Very happy to give Davey Music 5 stars across the board. From first contact with Patrick (our contact within Davey music) we were very impressed with their professionalism, flexibility and attention to detail. Patrick gave us some tips and advice on several occasions and was very accommodating when we asked for songs not on their sample list. On the day, they arrived well before the ceremony started, and continued to play until all of the guests had left at the end. Personally I felt that having traditional Irish musicians added so much to the ceremony and really was head and shoulders above your standard keyboard player and singer. Top marks guys. My husband and I have strong ties to both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, so even though we were getting married in Texas, we wanted to include some traditional music for the festivities. Davey Music created and recorded a special song just for us—a combination of a traditional Irish melody and a Texas folk song—and it was such a delightful surprise! I can’t sing the praises of Patrick and his Davey Music team highly enough. They added a truly unique and beautiful memory to our special day.

For our wedding we knew that we wanted some Classical & Traditional musical elements for our ceremony – Davey Musicians were a perfect fit. Patrick was so great to deal with, and worked with us in a professional, calm, relaxed and very flexible manner. We had Patrick on the flute, and his fellow musicians on harp and violin and it was perfect! I walked down the aisle to Gabriel’s Oboe, and it was just beautiful. I asked my brother if he would sing and play his guitar for one of the songs, and Patrick and the girls had no problem with learning Beyoncé’s ‘Halo’ a couple of days before the wedding! They arrived early to rehearse it with my brother and when they played, it was breath taking and so moving. Most of our guests commented on how beautiful the music was, and in particular that one piece – as one person said ‘it was so moving, you could hear a pin drop!’ So ‘thank you’ Patrick for making our ceremony so personal and special. If you are looking for great wedding musicians, I would whole-heartedly recommend Davey Music!

Patrick could not do enough for us, first of all we had a meeting to discuss what music we wanted, he give us a demo of different Instruments with different songs. Over the following weeks we contacted each other through emails and phone calls to iron out what we wanted with one item we thought was a big deal but it turned out it was not to them,we had a song we would liked played but it was not known to Patrick, he said no problem get me the music I will learn it and play it for you and so he did beautifully. On the day of the wedding our celebrant altered the run of the mass slightly again they took it in their stride and just went with it, we also got them to play at our drinks reception for us with a trad feel to it to get the party started and it really worked we can not recommend Davey music enough and if you are lucky enough to have them play at your wedding you will definitely not be disappointed Thank you so much for helping to make our day Davey music Trea & Kevin

As a musician myself, who plays at a lot of weddings, I like to think that I have some experience with how the band can influence proceedings. In the right hands, the band rounds off the perfect day, bringing together the whole wedding party. In the wrong hands it can be a disaster! Patrick and his team gave us a night we will remember for ever, for all the right reasons! The quality of the music was superb, Patrick's attention to detail and professionalism were top notch and they were fantastic value for money. One of my biggest bugbears of playing at weddings is bridal couples who want to plan every element of the bands set. A good band will have the experience to judge the audience and Patrick's team did a fantastic job on this. I asked for a family Ceilidh that would cater for ages 4-94. They got this spot on. The band had the whole wedding party dancing all night and the highlight for me was how they brought the whole evening, and the entire wedding party, together. Patrick and his very talented group provided us with the most incredible music at our wedding. All our guests were blown away by the stunning quality of the traditional instrumental pieces and all the hymns were sung beautifully. We couldn't have asked for more. We were married in July 2015 in Castle Leslie. I knew exactly what type of music I wanted at my wedding, very Irish traditional, & Davey Music certainly delivered. Having heard a few pieces from their website I contacted Patrick who was extremely helpful & accommodating. He even recommended certain songs & was able to perform anything I had suggested...a real personal touch. Can I also recommend Davey Musics male singer Eamon. Oh my word he blew everyone away. He was amazing!!! He sang in Irish & it was just so beautiful. We had the violin, tin whistle, the harp, & the pipes...the music in the chapel was breath taking...our priest, Father Brown, said it was the best he had heard for a long long time! Davey Music also played at our drinks reception in Castle Leslie. The atmosphere was fantastic, & they really got everyone in the mood, plus it was very fitting to our surroundings. I really cannot praise Davey Music enough, they were absolutely fantastic, & I've still remained friends with Patrick...which in my opinion says a lot. If you're after elegant, professional, breath taking, 'hair stand up' , Irish traditional music, then Davey Music is without a doubt the best in the business.
